Jess DePaul Ariail is an experienced visual designer specializing in crafting creative identities for large and small businesses.

Jess has most recently worked as a Senior Designer for Compass Real Estate since its’ launch in the Chicago market in early 2018. She was closely involved with the Compass brand and its’ luxury agents which span across 70+ markets throughout the US.

She is enthusiastic about collaborating with small businesses and creators looking to enhance their visual identity or explore unique ways to establish their brand.

In addition to her design work, Jess runs her own Chainstitch Embroidery practice, as Mister Baby. A unique service offering she hopes to intertwine with her design practice as often as she can.

    Collaborating with regional marketing teams to conceptualize and provide design solutions for agents personal branding and day-to-day collateral. Additionally, working closely with the national in-house design team on ever evolving the Compass brand, our campaigns, events, and external marketing pieces.

  • Mister Baby Vintage & Chainstitch Services
    2019-Present

    Curating and selling vintage clothing, with a selection of re-worked pieces embellished using a 1940’s era hand-cranked embroidery machine. Additionally, working with businesses large and small to offer live chainstitch services for events and small pop-ups across Chicago.

    The Umbrella Vintage Collaborative

    Co-owner of The Umbrella Vintage. A vintage collaborative located within the historic concert venue, The Salt Shed.
